CONSTAB IND’s Peel compounds are designed to enable smooth and reliable opening of plastic film seals. A common application is in the sealing layers of coextruded film structures.
The peel effect is achieved through controlled incompatibility between the polymers, creating a defined breaking point within the sealing layer and allowing the film to be opened without damaging the packaging structure.
CONSTAB IND offers a broad range of Peel compounds for PP films, suitable for food, medical and pharmaceutical packaging applications. The CONPEEL® compounds are a recent addition to the range and are mainly used in coextruded films produced on cast film extrusion lines.
All CONPEEL® products can be sealed using heat-sealing or ultrasonic welding processes and are suitable for sterilization.
